The J Marcus and Ellen B Fultz Family Fund is providing a $5,000 challenge gift that will be unlocked once Performing Arts in Education receives 20 donations. The couple is passionate about Ohio University’s Performing Arts and dedicated to providing, as well as enriching, arts education throughout Southeastern Ohio. Ellen Fultz works for Ohio University Advancement as an Executive Director of Development. Marc Fultz '81 and the couples’ two children are proud OHIO graduates.
When you give, you ensure regional K-12 students can experience performing arts with a special live performance on OHIO’s Athens campus or in the regional schools.
In 2019, the program organized 64 outreach activities serving several thousand people ranging from K-12 students to university students and community members, seeing a 36 percent increase in only one year. Participating regional K-12 schools include those in Athens county as well as surrounding counties throughout the region.
With your Giving Day donation, you’re helping OHIO students earn more than a degree: you’re bringing them all the hands-on experiences that will transform them into community leaders, global citizens, creative thinkers, and world-changers. Together, let’s encourage all these connections and more to propel them Forever Forward.
