Whether supporting students who want to make their mark in the world through their art, or helping a faculty member bring about a fundamental shift in the way we see our environment, your support sustains Bobcat traditions into the future.
Dr. David, PHD ’81, and Valerie Scholl are providing a 1:1 match, up to $5,000, for gifts designated for the College of Fine Arts Community Engagement Fund. “The College of Fine Arts Community Engagement Fund provides essential matching funds to grant-supported arts driven community initiatives by students and faculty. With projects that bring the power of the arts to serve the aging population, children with autism, the community of southeastern Ohio, future healthcare providers, and women suffering from addiction, College of Fine Arts students and faculty are making an impact and building a national model for arts partnerships in rural environments.”
All gifts to the College of Fine Arts, no matter the size, are impactful.
Nearly half of OHIO’s College of Fine Arts students find meaningful community engagement through internships, volunteer work, and class work throughout the year. Students are always directly involved in bringing the power of the arts to these community initiatives:
Your support of the College of Fine Arts Community Engagement Fund will expand the College’s students and faculty engagement in these and other initiatives in the Southeast Ohio region and beyond.
