Your gift to OHIO’s Kids on Campus program empowers at-risk children and families to realize their full potential through educational, nutritional, and recreational opportunities.
For more than 20 years, Kids on Campus has provided after-school and summer programs for area youth. Local schools, organizations, and businesses partner to create an optimal learning environment. Parents, caregivers, and social service agencies comprise the team that informs our approach.
Brett Kim '96, '99 is providing a 1:1 match, up to $2,000, for gifts designated to Kids on Campus. He is passionate about ending childhood hunger and strongly believes in the program’s positive impact on local at-risk children and families. Brett earned both his BS in Athletic Training and Master of Physical Therapy from the College of Health Science and Professions. He is the Chief Operating Officer of Employed Physician Alignment at OhioHealth and resides in Southeastern Ohio with his wife, Erica, and their children.
Kids on Campus offers before- and after-school programs to 1,000 elementary, middle, and high school students in five school districts. Students in the program receive healthy food and academic support. Also, summer camp programming provides a wide variety of enrichment and recreational activities.
Generous support from donors, grants, and in-kind gifts are the sole source of funding for Kids on Campus. The College of Health Sciences and Professions administers this valuable program.
Your gift ensures Kids on Campus continues to benefit the region's youth. Thank you for supporting Kids on Campus at Ohio University!
