Your support for the Ohio University Eastern Cultural Programs fund helps us bring unique cultural programming to the Ohio Valley!

The Eastern Campus of Ohio University has a strong tradition in the arts. Faculty, staff and students have participated in over 100 theater productions and dozens of art showings.

We want to continue this heritage by continuing to support the development of cultural programming on campus.

All gifts matched up to $2,500!

David Rohall, Dean of Campus and Community Relations on the Eastern Campus will be matching all gifts made to the Ohio University Eastern Cultural Programs during OHIO Giving Day (up to $2,500 available for matched funds). Join us and double your impact today!

The Eastern Campus has a wonderful theater and art gallery in Shannon Hall, the main building on campus. Cultural programming includes:

Theater productions such as Scattered Shakespeare (Spring 2021), A Christmas Carol (Fall 2017), The Glass Menagerie (Fall 2011) and Noises Off (Spring 2010).
Art Gallery exhibitions which have included artists such as Becky Slemmons from Pittsburgh, Bob Dombrowski from St. Clairsville, and Sarah Fleenor from Akron; groups like the Ohio Watercolor Society, the Belmont County Talented and Gifted Showcase, and Ohio Valley architects; and special exhibits on sexual assault, the Underground Railroad, and the art of tattooing.

Your gift to the Cultural Funds supports the development of future productions and gallery exhibits and other events. This is a major resource to students and the larger community. Thank you for supporting the Ohio University Eastern Cultural Programs!
