The College of Fine Arts' Lift Student Support Fund makes what seems impossible, possible.

Your gift to the College of Fine Arts will help recruit and retain student-artists throughout their four years at OHIO, and it starts with the Class of 2025. By pledging your support in any amount to the College of Fine Arts Lift Student Support Fund, your gift will be matched dollar for dollar by the OHIO Match Program Fund.

For prospective student-artists and their families, the College of Fine Arts Lift Student Support Fund makes what seems impossible, possible. Our support to students at this $2,000 level helps these artists receive OHIO’s College of Fine Arts transformational education and experience.

Your generous support in any amount to the Lift Fund's 2021 goal of $200,000 will help provide this crucial support

Up to $5,000 in supporting funds!

Catherine A. Levy, who serves on the College of Fine Arts Leadership Council, and her husband, David Levy, AB ’78, are providing $5,000 in funds to support the College. The first $2,500 in OHIO Giving Day gifts to the College of Fine Arts' Lift Student Support Endowment will be matched dollar for dollar. When the fund's Giving Day balance reaches $6,500, the Levy’s unlock another $2,500 toward the fund.

"As a long-time supporter of OHIO, as a technical professional, and as a volunteer for many causes, including the College of Fine Arts Leadership Council, I certainly feel like it's an honor to give students a financial 'lift' toward fulfilling their dreams in the arts. We are so impressed by the College’s and OHIO’s philosophy that the arts permeate our entire culture and every facet of our endeavors. Through the College’s cross-campus collaborations, students, faculty and staff bring the power of the arts to address persistent societal problems. We have seen this philosophy in action. The power of the arts to help our world inspires us to invest in OHIO's talented student-artists, lifting their financial stress through scholarship support. The foundational support from the Levys—a $10,000 gift toward the Lift Fund’s $200,000 in 2021 goal—is a testament to their belief that together, with the generosity of many, we can help would-be OHIO students become the artists of tomorrow and choose OHIO for their fine arts degree.

Support budding artists, art administrators, and art activists, therapists, and educators so they can embrace and realize their potential.

• All gifts to this current-use fund are eligible for a dollar-for-dollar match through June 30, 2021, as part of Ohio University’s Current-Use Scholarship Program.
• The program doubles the impact of gifts made to eligible current-use scholarships by amplifying every dollar of donor funds with $1 in funds from the University’s unrestricted financial aid budget.
• This will provide immediate financial help to undergraduate students in the OHIO community.
