The majority of our students are from the greater Lancaster area, and are likely to stay in the community after graduation and become skilled professionals and civic leaders. Without assistance from donors, many of our students would have difficulty paying for the degree they need to enter the workforce, or to upgrade their skills.
Your contribution to the Ohio University Lancaster General Scholarship Fund offers hope and encouragement to these students, along with needed financial support. Your gift matters, and it changes the lives of our students, their families, and our community in wonderful and monumental ways.
- All gifts to this current-use fund are eligible for a dollar-for-dollar match through June 30, 2021, as part of Ohio University’s Current-Use Scholarship Program.
- The program doubles the impact of gifts made to eligible current-use scholarships by amplifying every dollar of donor funds with $1 in funds from the University’s unrestricted financial aid budget.
- This will provide immediate financial help to undergraduate students in the OHIO community. This means your $25 becomes $50, and your $500 becomes $1,000.
