Celebrate Design at OHIO

The first 50 gifts unlocked a new endowment! The second 50 gifts unlocked a $1,000 gift by Robin L. Smith, BFA '72!

The first 50 gifts in support of the Fine Arts Designer in Residence Fund unlocked a new $25,000 endowment, established by Graphic Design alumnus, Elliot Strunk, BFA '95, and Betsy Burton-Strunk. Thank you to everyone who made a gift! Your support unlocked the newly endowed gift that bolsters this effort in perpetuity.

Inspired by the outpouring of support in honoring of treasured faculty and celebrating Design at OHIO, Robin L. Smith, BFA ’72, challenged Graphic Design Alumni to participate by making a gift, of any amount, to the Fine Arts Designer in Residence Fund. After 50 new gifts were transacted, she gave another $1,000 to help bring cutting edge designers to OHIO to work with students seeking careers in design this coming fall! Thank you!

To celebrate design at OHIO and the legacy of extraordinary faculty Karen Nulf and Don Adleta, the College of Fine Arts at Ohio University has created a new Fine Arts Designer in Residency Fund that will bring design practitioners to campus and online for virtual residencies at Ohio University. Bringing in experts, innovators, and entrepreneurs in ALL areas of design, the Fund will:

• establish connections between the academic community and the professional world, 
• provide real-time insights about the practice of design, 
• and build upon a growing legacy of design excellence for future students that will enhance educational experiences inside and outside the classroom.

Gifts can be made in honor of faculty members Karen Nulf and Don Adleta.

Your gift, in any amount, to the Fine Arts Designer in Residence Fund, honors the legacy of design at OHIO and will help enhance and expand our students' connections in the design field beginning Fall 2021! Thank you for your support!

Although this campaign has concluded, it's easy to give to Ohio University and support the Fine Arts Designer in Residence Endowment Fund.
