Athletic teams at Ohio University Lancaster have been a vital part of student life for more than 50 years. We take great pride in the multiple MVPs, all-academic and all-conference selections we have earned. We also have the pleasure of boasting about the multiple conference and tournament championships, all-sports league honors we can claim. Chances are, you were a member of one of those winning teams – or you know someone who was! We want our current athletes to share in those same experiences, and we need your help to ensure our winning traditions continue.
It is time for a full-court press. For the members of our men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, men's baseball, men's and women's tennis, golf, and women's softball to play without having to carry the ball and manage the associated costs all on their own, we are inviting you to help sustain the Athletics program at Ohio University Lancaster.
It costs roughly $500 for each student-athlete to participate in a sport at Ohio University Lancaster. For the student-athletes who are a part of our eight sports teams, the total cost each year is an estimated $40,000.
