Celebrate the 24th Anniversary of The Schey by Supporting Our Students and See Your Gift Matched!

Gifts Support Students And The Next 24 Years

All gifts to this Schey x Alumni: Tell Your Story & Support Someone Writing Theirs campaign will go directly toward student professional development programs and opportunities like the following:

  • Sales-specific Global Consulting Program opportunities
  • Study-abroad opportunities
  • Student scholarships
  • Sales competition and networking trips
  • Bringing renowned speakers to campus
  • And more!

From our roots as ‘The Sales Centre’ to now simply being referred to as ‘Schey’ by students, there isn’t a single Schey Sales Centre story, there are 1,500 (and counting).

Since graduating 2 students in 1999, we’ve grown to graduating classes of approximately 200 students and a program of 600. Our growth has come from across the University as our goal is focused on delivering sales and professional development to every Bobcat who wants the opportunity. Whether it’s to the business major spending countless hours in Copeland Hall or Scripps communication students, Russ engineering students, Patton education students, health sciences students — and everything in between — we support everyone towards their career goals. After 24 years, we know that the sales skills and business acumen we teach make a difference.

Double the Impact of Your Gift!

Because of the generosity of Kyle Leciejewski '06, Natalie Eicher '09, Mike Perez '03, and Bob Fenner '08 — all Sales Centre alumni! —  there is $12,000 in matching dollars for the Schey, but your help is needed to claim it. The first $12,000 in gifts to this campaign will be matched $1-for-$1. This will double the impact of your gift! At least twice a week, Ohio University will update the Sales Centre Alumni Matching Gift listing on the Donor Wall. When fully matched, there will be $24,000 immediately available to support students' professional development.

Please join your fellow alumni in recognizing the Sales Centre's 24 years of service to students, and in support of the next 24 years of the program graduating sales leaders. Thank you!

Hear From Schey Students

In the Schey x Playlist below, listen to some of our current students talk about the impact that the professional development the Schey offers has had on their lives. In preparation for our student recruitment, we filmed 14 of our students share what the Schey has meant to them. We called it Schey x because we know everyone has a different path but we all have one thing in common: membership in America’s best collegiate sales program.

On the 24th anniversary of our founding as one of the first programs ever, we want to reconnect and hear your stories of success. From the days of Barb Dyer, Dawn Deeter, Ken Hartung, Cathe Axinn, Adam Rapp, and more, we want to honor our legacy and build for an even brighter future.

We hope you’ll consider a financial contribution towards our $24,000 goal to celebrate 24 years, but moreover, we want to hear your personal stories. Please email us your Schey x story to we’ll begin posting stories on the update wall and will feature them in future social media posts.
