Pay It Forward with Undergraduate Summer Internships

It’s been great to have our students back in the classroom and on-campus!

Ohio University was one of the first to re-engage undergraduate students in on-campus research and creative works during the pandemic. And, OHIO is doubling its efforts! For the first time, the university will be offering a program to fund stipends for undergraduate researchers and artists, especially those with high financial need.

OHIO has prioritized $30,000 for summer internship stipends. But we need to do more!

Please help us reach our goal of an additional $10,000 to create greater access to these impactful experiences.

Bobcats, are you willing to help pay it forward?

Need Additional Incentive? We Challenge You:

  • Give a gift and we’ll double it. The Ohio University Emeriti Association is providing a 1:1 match for all donations up to $5,000. These matching dollars will be added to the campaign balance semi-weekly.
  • Get us off to a strong start. The first $1,000 raised (not including the match) unlocks Dr. Howard Dewald’s gift of $1,000.

More about the Fund

The Fund to Enhance Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity provides funding for OHIO students to take part in meaningful research and creative experiences. These experiences give our students critical skills to advance their careers while contributing to societal good through knowledge and culture.
