The LGBT Center at OHIO

The LGBT Center at OHIO provides students with a community space, crucial resources, and friendships that last a lifetime. The LGBT Center not only helps students with LGBTQIA+ issues but also provides students with professional and personal resources.

It provides an inclusive community space for people to build relationships with each other. The Center supports students navigating personal crises and provides professional services and works appropriately with LGBTQIA+ people. Additionally, the LGBT Center works with University leadership to define what it means to include, celebrate, and have equity for queer and trans people.

Supporting LGBTQIA+ Students

Since opening in March 2022, the new and refreshed LGBT Center has had 700+ visitors. The center offers a number of services to students.

• Supports students with an open environment for working, socializing, or relaxing
• Offers workshops around sexuality, gender identity, and many other LGBTQIA+ issues
• Brings awareness to LGBTQIA+ students on and around campus
• Provides snacks and drinks to visitors

The LGBT Center Pride Fund

Your gift has the power to positively impact the lives of not only Ohio University LGBTQIA+ students, but also the broader Ohio University community. The LGBT Center Pride Fund helps further the mission of the LGBT Center. The fund can be used for enhancing the Center's educational programming, updating the Center's library, supporting alumni events, and/or expanding programs serving communities that house our various campuses.
