Wearing Green and White is much more than just pulling on a jersey. Every student who does so becomes part of the fabric of the University's history. The Impact of playing rugby transcends the white lines of the pitch. It fosters attributes such as resilience, teamwork, empathy, and communication and provides unforgettable experiences on and off the pitch. 

Cutting to the chase: Our aspiration is that Ohio University becomes considered one of the best institutions for rugby in the state of Ohio and beyond; more students are encouraged to enjoy the game while in Athens and continue to rise in the rankings.

This fund can provide for a better and well-rounded athletic experience by:

• Giving athletes access to recording equipment (allowing for playback of game-time footage)
• Helping to offset teams' and players' travel expenses
• Allowing teams to participate in scrimmages and tournaments, like Nash Bash
