Although this campaign has concluded, it's easy to give to Ohio University and support OHIO Soccer.
In the 2021 season, Ohio Soccer demonstrated determination and drive on and off the field, finishing the season with an 11-5-3 record reaching the highest win total in conference play since 2006. With this successful season, they were able to make it all the way to the MAC tournament and finished the season with 13 athletes named Academic All-MAC, maintaining a 3.57 team GPA. This success is predicted to continue this year as they were selected first in the 2022 MAC preseason poll.
As they continue through their 2022 season, we are asking them every day to give their all as students and as athletes. And today, we’re reaching out to ask you to stand with them through a gift of any amount to help fund the team with nutritional needs, recruiting, and equipment. Your gift supports these students as they grow as athletes and as young women, learning to lead both on and off the field.
Help us reach our fundraising goal of $15,000.
“My teammates and I are so thankful for all of the incredible donations made to our program! They allow us to be the best student-athletes we can be by providing essentials such as nutritional supplies, exceptional equipment, and experiences that will last us a lifetime. Because of our amazing donors, I am able to spend every day doing the thing I love most with the people I love most.” —Sam Wexell
Your actions now will make OHIO Soccer's $15,000 goal quickly attainable. Here are three things alumni, families, and fans can do to support a bright future for soccer student-athletes:
To support all of OHIO's student-athletes, give to the Ohio Bobcat Club, write Ohio Bobcat Club on your check, or ask Matt Thomson about Ohio Bobcat Club membership and benefits.
“We thank everyone who graciously donates to our program. I know the student athlete’s experiences are enhanced with the fundraising efforts. This helps them to focus on being the best student-athletes they can be. This year we have been able to purchase a much-needed backstop behind the south goal of Chessa field as well as continue to utilize the game analysis software that helps us prepare the players.” —OHIO Women's Soccer Head Coach, Aaron Rogers
