Support OHIO Wrestling!
Competing in Division I NCAA athletics takes more than talent – it takes dedication, determination, and a willingness to continue going match after match. OHIO Wrestling represents these characteristics and is on a mission this season to reach new heights and continue building a culture of success. This is the time to rally behind our student-athletes by investing in their continued achievement.
Help us reach our fundraising goals of $55,000 and 200 donors.
$25,000 in Matching Gifts are Waiting to be Unlocked!

During the 2021-22 season, OHIO Wrestling showed discipline and grit throughout the season and postseason. The team finished with a compiled 9-4 record prior to placing in the Top 10 at the 2021-22 MAC Wrestling Tournament. The program also saw two wrestlers—Sal Perrine and Jordan Slivka—qualify and participate in the 2021-22 Division I Wrestling Championships.
Additionally, the team succeeded in the classroom having 7 athletes selected for 2022 Academic All-MAC Honors. They maintained a team-wide GPA of 3.378 and Ohio University was ranked No. 23 by the National Wrestling Coaches Association. Three wrestlers—Sal Perrine, Oscar Sanchez, and Kyran Hagan—were also selected for Scholar All-American recognition.
This season, the Men’s Wrestling program seeks to have similar success on the mat and in the classroom. Help OHIO Wrestling student-athletes reach its goal and play a part in their success!
