Thank You for your generous support of the Marching 110 this Homecoming Season!
We were overwhelmed by the demand for our one-of-a-kind D-hole Rufus Bobbleheads. Alumni spoke, and we listened! We have 110 more Bobbleheads awaiting a new home on a shelf or desk.
So far, donors have claimed 131 of our 220 Bobbleheads. You can help us find homes for the remaining 89 by promoting this campaign to your OU friends and family while helping to raise critical support for the Best Band in the Land. All gifts support the Marching 110 Director's Fund, which allows the director to support special activities and projects, such as purchasing instruments or helping students with housing or travel expenses for special trips.
Donors who give $110 or more will get a one-of-a-kind Marching 110 Bobblehead. Giving at ANY level helps support sustaining and enhancing the Ohio University Marching 110 experience for students. Thank you!
Also, stay tuned in the coming weeks for an opportunity to vote on the next iteration of our Rufus 110 Bobblehead.
The Marching 110 has been led by 52 Field Commanders over the years — from Tom McKee and Jay Sokol in 1973 to Eric Steere who is leading the 2023 band.
Today, the number "110" symbolizes the 110% effort expected of its members during each and every rehearsal and performance.
