On OHIO Giving Day, alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents and friends come together for 24 hours to make gifts to the programs and places at Ohio University that mean the most to them.

As an OHIO Giving Day Influencer, you'll help us get the word out about Giving Day and ask your network to consider making a donation to support whichever of our 150 funds is closest to their heart. People are most likely to make a gift when asked by a peer or friend. Your participation makes a huge difference.

What will I do as an OHIO Giving Day Influencer?

1. Post on social media. This can be anything from sharing after you make a gift to posting a selfie.
2. Send personal messages. Reaching out directly to friends, family and peers can be the best way to get the word out.
3. Be a representative for your community. Above all, being an influencer means showing your Bobcat pride and representing your OHIO community.

What will I get as an OHIO Giving Day Influencer?

1. The chance to win prizes. The top three influencers who bring in the highest number of gifts will receive a prize.
2. Some OHIO swag! We'll send you a special Influencer kit (while supplies last) to celebrate OHIO Giving Day 2023.
