The CIBED Experience

For nearly 20 years, The Center for International Business Education and Development (CIBED) has provided students with unmatched academic programs and experiential learning opportunities that elevate their readiness for the ever-changing needs of the contemporary international business market.

We believe that Global Learning is one of the most rewarding ways in which Bobcats can expand their opportunities for maximizing their future success. At the heart of this program are our Global Consulting Program (GCP), OHIO International Consulting Program (OICP), Visiting International Partners Program, student exchange programs, and double degree programs, where students gain hands-on application as they prepare for the ever-changing international business landscape.

Traveling and working abroad while solving real-world international business challenges is invaluable, yet the program and expenses can range from $3,000 to $7,000 per student, which can be a challenge for many. Our goal is to overcome this obstacle, breaking down the financial barriers to participation and making the opportunity equitable for all who want to take on and harness this global experience.

How You Can Help

When you give to the Center for International Business Education and Development Fund, you provide opportunities for Bobcats to transform their lives through global experiential learning. You are providing the resources for our students to:

• Gain applied business experience working abroad & within multicultural teams
• Develop solutions with real-world impact
• Collect experiences and narratives to build resumes
• Experience cross-cultural immersion in an international setting around the world
• Expand global networks

As you reflect on the growth and development you experienced as part of CIBED’s Global Learning opportunity or through your exploration of the world, you know firsthand the value of this experience. Please consider giving back to the program that made a difference for you. Every gift at any level helps us reach our goal and make an impact on deserving students.

Gift Levels with Impact

• $3,000 Covers the Global Consulting Program Fee
• $1,500 Covers roundtrip flight for a student traveling to a GCP
• $500 Program fee for the OHIO International Consulting Program
• $100 Support cost for lunches for the duration of the program, or pay for international cell phone contract
• $50 Supports students with transportation to/from the airport to GCP Site or provides a week’s worth of lunches
• $20.23 Supports student with technology fees, pays for dinner on site and/or gas to the airport
